Interview With Avasa Love

Living Wholly is honored to celebrate Avasa and Matthew and the celestial music they contribute to this world.  They played at our Love event on February 24th and rocked the house. It was such a blessing to have them play inspirational music while we discussed the subject of love with amazing key note speakers.  These two souls are the essence of love.
In the fall of 2008, Avasa and Matthew first connected in Northern California, It was an instantaneous recognition of love, and soon after discovered they shared a devotion to music.  They married October 2nd, 2010, and two weeks later released their first EP ‘Love is King, Love is Queen’, produced by Robin Livingston. Their music is an inspiring blend of world, singer-songwriter and devotion with unique anthemic coloring in each song. The listener is especially touched by the gifts of their voice, known to embrace the heart with soothing and celestial harmonies.  
Avasa and Matthew have shared the stage with numerous artists such as: Jason Mraz, Ben Lee, MC Yogi, Peia, David Newman, C.C White, Donna De Lory, among others.  Avasa and Matthew Love currently reside in Los Angeles, California, and have recently released their second album ‘The Road’, now available for purchase.
What does living wholly mean to you?
Living Wholly conjures a sense of fulfillment and service… to come to know the wellspring of love within the heart, and share from that place. As well, to be open to change and transformation within each new day. 
What are your top 3 tips for holistic living?
Top 3 tips are to use Essential Oils, Eat Organic, and Walk in nature
What is your favorite detox?
We love using a detoxification essential oil blend called Zendocrine, a drop in our water. It is an essential oil blend of Tangerine, Rosemary, Geranium, Juniper Berry, and Cilantro. It supports the organs of the body detox in a gentle and natural way.
What is your self-care practice?
Our self-care practice includes daily meditation and stretching, anointing and diffusing essential oils, as well as taking multi-vitamins.
Do you have any teachers you work with to inspire and support your evolution in consciousness?
Yes, Juan Ruiz Naupari, who is founder and director of the Pneuma System and Inkarri Cultural Association.
What has been the most challenging experience in your life that turned out to be the most meaningful opportunity to your life's path?
One of the great challenges in my life was letting go of my professional dance career in my early twenties in order to heal from that destructive environment. I left from NYC to live in India, and from that point it opened a door to music, meeting my husband, and eventually finding my spiritual teacher and sangha.
What gifts do you want to contribute to the world?
The gift of Change. I hope to leave within all my interactions an experience of love and hope; that we all have the ability to transform our current life circumstances for greater well-being.

Oregano Oil, On Guard Essential Oil, Enzymes, Lavender Oil, Multi-Vitamins, Camera, Journal, Swim suit.
