The majority of people I know, celebrate Valentine’s Day. Personally, I love this heart opening holiday. And I totally get that there are many that don't. So whether you were swooning on the arm of a new lover, spending quality time with your family, or crying in a bathtub alone eating cheesecake, we were all in it together.

The beauty of Valentine’s Day is that it’s an excuse to show love, much like New Year’s Day is an excuse to start over. However, we can embody love on any day of any month or begin again at any moment, can’t we? Let’s find out!

Let’s go on a journey together. 

Let’s begin anew and take a courageous leap right into our hearts, and do Valentine’s Day all over again right now.

Begin by gently closing your eyes, and - when you’re ready - breathing slowly and deeply into your diaphragm for at least 5 satisfying breaths. Now, just for a moment, forget every concept you’ve ever had about “love”. Let images of heart shaped boxes and red roses drift far into your most distant of memories. Eating cotton candy with your sweetie on the boardwalk - POOF. Holding hands with someone for the first time - POOF. A riveting dinner date over wine - POOF. Your mind probably doesn’t want to let go, but don’t listen to it. You’ve got this. Knowing your own divinity is a pillar as you embody the Living Wholly lifestyle.

As you rest in this space of letting go, check in with yourself. Is your heart empty? Has it been drained of all love? Of course not!

What remains is capital - L - L O V E. Real Love is different from learned love, and it is always there for you, nurturing your soul in the most deeply fulfilling way possible: bringing you right back into a space of connection to yourself and the interconnectedness of all things.

This is the Love that comes from accessing your heart space. When you leave the mind and the 70,000 thoughts we humans have per day, dance into a comfortable distance and drop into your heart, you really, really fall into your Love. You fall in love with yourself. You fall in love with your surroundings. You fall in love with all of your life circumstances, your personal challenges, and even those limiting beliefs. You truly create the space to reside in your Loving. This is when the calmness comes forward and your connection to something greater floods your entire being.

My invitation to you is to get quiet, drop into your heart at the beginning of each day, even for 1 minute. Trust me, it will permeate inwardly and outwardly. It will shift your experience. Why wouldn't you want that?
